Tania Mara Galli Fonseca holds a PhD in education from UFRGS (1996) and a postdoctorate from the University of Lisbon (2004). She is a professor and CAPq researcher in the graduate programmes in social and institutional psychology and IT in education at UFRGS in Porto Alegre, Brazil. She is editor of the Cartografía book series with UFRGS University Press and Sulina Press in Porto Alegre and Head of the Corpo, Arte e Clínica CAPq Research Lab. She has extensive experience in psychology with an emphasis in studies of subjectivity and work. Her work articulates the philosophy of difference through the concepts of time and subjectivity, body-art-clinic, and labour and technology, with emphasis on creative processes and resistance.
